There are eight games in the Power Pro Kun Pocket series. This show is a continuation of the Power Pros series that came before it. Only in Japan did the game become available for purchase on December 1st, 2005.
How to play Power Pro Kun Pocket 8 (Japan)
This game has a "Contra" spoof mini-app that seems to be based on Contra III: The Alien Wars. At the end, the player has to fight a remake of Super Contra's Great Heli boss. The gameplay is very different from classic run-and-gun games, mostly because of technical issues.
For example, the player figure is too big and slow, and enemy bullets move too quickly. Also, the names of the weapon power-ups are different. For example, the letter "S" does not mean "Spread Gun," as some might think.
