In the early 1990s, the Adventure Quiz series of quiz games was first released for coin-operated cabinets and home entertainment systems.

How to play Capcom Quiz - Hatena no Daibouken (Japan)

The gameplay takes place in a board-like environment. After selecting one of the four numbered ball (ranging from one to three), the player walks across a grid map or "world" and moves the selected number of squares in any direction they choose throughout the game. A random question is shown to the player after they have moved, and if they choose the incorrect answer, they will lose one of their lives.

Once all of their lives have been lost, the player will be returned to the screen where they can select a planet. You will find a number of chests dispersed over the area, each of which contains things that can be utilized during a test. Every world has its own unique objectives that must be accomplished, as well as mid-bosses and a final boss that must be vanquished. Every boss has his or her own life, which can be improved by providing the right answers to the questions posed by the boss.
