A new strategy to change the course of history in his favor has been conceived by Chuck De Nomolos. The rare orbs known as Time Fragments have been stolen by him, and he has dispersed them all throughout the universe.

Now, in order to prevent the future from being altered, Bill and Ted are going to have to travel through time in order to retrieve the temporal pieces. The San Dimas combo will not have an easy time of it.

Due to the fact that De Nomolos has gained the assistance of the evil robots Bill and Ted, as well as the fact that he has crazy Death and a few historical characters in order to thwart their progress.

The entirety of each level is displayed on a single screen. Players are required to evade opponents by leaping platforms, ascending ladders or ropes, and collecting time fragments that are dispersed across the environment.

The fact that this is a Game Boy game means that all of the sprites are really simple. For example, Bill and Ted have game sprites that are practically identical to one another. The only thing that distinguishes opponents from one another is the behaviors that they take.
