Overview Drift King Shutokou Battle 2 - Tsuchiya Keiichi & Bandou Masaaki (Japan)
A driving game unlike any other. It is named after Keiichi "Drift King" Tsuchiya and is funded by him. The title refers to the Shuto Expressway near Tokyo, where the majority of the races take place. Before taking their automobile to the track to compete against other street racing enthusiasts, players select a car and modify it. The game remains split-screen whether or not a second player is present; when playing alone, the camera remains on the top screen and remains at the beginning line.
This game follows Drift King Shutouku Battle '94. After the Super Famicom, Genki continued to make Shutokou Battle games, including Tokyo Highway Battle and the Tokyo Intense Racer series for the Dreamcast and PlayStation 2.
