How to play Double Dragon (Japan)
As shown in Renegade and later beat 'em ups, the majority of the games include gameplay that takes place in a pseudo three-dimensional perspective. In this perspective, the player is able to move in four different directions, but they are constantly facing either left or right.
Most of the time, the player will proceed to the right in a horizontally scrolling scene. They will encounter a range of enemies throughout the route, who will come after them and try to halt their progress.
A range of unarmed fighting techniques are available for the player to employ against their opponents. In addition, the player can employ combat weapons like baseball bats and throwing knives, which are usually grabbed from enemies or found on the ground.
